The worst ISP of the India is here, called “Iqara Broadband” which’s name itself is not true. Broadband company which commits 40 Kbps of speed and not able to even give stable speed of 3-4 Kbps.
I activated their services in this month and the pain started. Recently they are certified ISO 2000 or 2001 or whatever with their greatest Customer Support.
Government should keep one site where customers can feedback about ISO certified companies so that they can think more then what the company provides figures ON PAPER instead of REAL. And after # of complaints against such company they should pull the award back.
I am still thinking of one thing, If you not able to pay the bills at time of whatever reasons, they own rights to cut the services. But if they cant provide you continuous services for which they are being paid, they can have excuses. You need to do long strugle to get SUCCESSIVE refund and to waste a lots of time. That is not even garanteed that you will have SUCCESSIVE REFUND.

I am Ashvin Savani from Avinashi Systems Pvt. Ltd. and using Iqara services with account / ID ‘adsavani’.
I am complaining about my connection since last 7+ days. I am calling at least twice in a day to your customer care center during all of these days. I hear same answer at each day from each call center officer, We forwarded / assigned your complaint to our technical support officer and he will come to your office soon. After a lot of arguments; they were not able to commit me the time. Some guys committed to solve it in 24 hours but that was just a commitment and some guys just not ready to even commit because they know how your ISO 2000 or 2001 CERTIFIED SERVICES is. If as an ISP organization, you can’t value the customer complaint in terms of hours, then you should just return your ISO award back to the government.
I lost much business and had problems to communicate with my clients just because of your superior connection. I am in planning to file a case against your firm to consumer court and will keep you updated.
During these 7-8 days only once your technical guy came and that also at the time when the peon was there in office. He said “Ping is coming fine” and went away. You guys also provided me a half dead modem. Which only have USB port working and Ethernet port is dead.
So now I request you to solve my complaint till tomorrow noon and refund me for last 7 days. Again here are my complaint(s):
- Connectivity is not continuous and not stable. In your terms “ping is not continuous”.
- Replace my modem and give me the one which have both USB and Ethernet ports working.
- Refund me for last 7 days and more if you are not able to solve the complaint before tomorrow noon.
- Refund my all fees you charged and take for my connection if you are not able to solve my complaint till tomorrow evening.
- Refund my business loss because of your worst service.
And I would like that the world and all of your customers to aware of our email communication.

I am also having problems with Iqara broad band as a home user in vadodara.
The customer care is non existent and the response time measures in weeks to months. God bless such incompetent people.
I agree that it is the worst tech support. For everything you are told “our people will get back to you” and it just never happens.
They were suppose to improved by aquired by You Tele. But since their staff is same, its impossible to change their services.
Wow. To think I came upon this blog when I was searching for Iqara website to request a broadband connection! I am sorry to hear about all the trouble you had to go through with those people, and would like to thank you for publishing the details here so that others like me will not get sucked into the same hole.
Thanks a bunch man. I am not getting broadband from Iqara even if they sent me free cookies with every kb of data transfer.

Hi, I have been a iqara / you tele customer for over four years now and I find them to the best among all broadband service providers.
Thats not to say that there are no issues but after using sify etc I find they are the best among the whole lot.
For your information, I have a 256kbps always on unlimited connection with a dedicated motorola cable modem.
I guess that makes a big difference as any broadband connection coming over ethernet (lan) cable will be unstable because of the number of hops which mean increased probable points of failure.
Btw I work from home and after having my inverter installed to take care of scheduled poweroutages, i was pleasantly surprised to find that they also have a 4 hour power backup which keeps the connection up for exactly four hours.
They are decent and I would recommend them to anyone. Only advice is to go for suvidha plans with cable modem and not the limited downloads, ethernet cable connection plans

Its still like this, I am not sure about mumbai but in Surat - from where they originated the business they are still rude in the service.
They want money money and money but dont want to give service. Thanks to ISO Standard companies that they do not take followup surveys from clients to maintain ranking of such organizations otherwise people of surat will really trash it.
They always try to cheat clients. Sales team says different and you get the different stuff. If they says you will get 256kbps, you will get attached strings like “upto” etc.,
But its now consumer world and hopefully someone will take action against them. If you are really satisfied customer (I hope that you are not employee of Iqara! ;)) then you are really lucky person.

i am from a’bad… and from the satellite area…
i do had same connection at my place before around 2 years… i do have two connections.. i had experienced services for both of the connections..
one connection was always fine..
the other one was always have some problems…
when i had tried to solve the problem, i dont remembered yet, how many times i had went to the Iqara office near fun - republic.. and wasted my time for atleast 14week days.. last when i got angry on their executive, he literaly told me to buy new connection from any other ISP..

for the complaint of the very slow speed… downloading as well as surfing…
actually since last 1 and half month, the browsing speed and the downloading speed is too slow…
i have purchased and paid for the Iqara Delight plan… 64Kbps
and since last 1 and half months, there is a big problem in speed of internet connection… actuly very less than the dial-up connections…
i had compolained for the same!!! about 60-65 phone calls, and more than 20 written complains..
BUT, THE RESPONSE FROM ONE OF YOUR OFFICER, Mr. Pushparaj Zala, HAD GIVEN ME THE ONE OF THE DIFFERENT ANSWER TO THE MY QUESTION…
HE HAD SUGGESTED ME TO FORGET ABOUT THE AMOUNT I HAD PAID TO IQARA BROADBAND AND TO START UP THE ANOTHER ISP CONNECTION!!!!

they have opened there company to cheet the people they will commit u for 4o kbps and download speed will be 4 kbps its logic is whatever u demand speed it will be divided by 10 means there profit is 10 times i,e 1000 % they earn from u not even in share market u will get reason behind is they can not maintain that much capacity of server cheter people are they always go for MTNL or other atleast what they say we get also when 1 get internate service dont give thm money initially tell them to open it with there account and then go to http://www.testmy.net website and cheack ur both download and upload speed

I asked for a YOU connection in Navi Mumbai. The executive came to my house on 19th May, 2007 and took the cheque by promising me the connection in 3 days (3 days because, mine is a new society), but till today after calling the executive and the branch manager (Navi Mumbai), I am still looking at the connection. In the meantime they have encashed the cheque.

With reference to the mentioned complaint number( 20070505****** ) i have been calling the customer service and the hyderabad office many times till date and everytime i get the same response from them that they are workingon the issue.
I feel very very UNHAPPY with the WORST SERVICE which I am getting from YOU. The Accounts team are very unco-operative with small small issues also. They are still not able to figure out the issue inspite of giving them the payment details , voucher number and the person who collected the money from me .
Personally I feel YOU will be top if there is a survey on WORST customer services.
With this kind of customer service support i now doubt the customer satisfaction ratio that YOU will be having .
If they cannot work and expect the customers to feel the same kind of support and service from YOU in future also then please let the people know so that they can close their respective accounts with you guys and move to some new service provider.
For God Sake atleast make sure that the customer service guys have a supervisior who can act on complaints if any customer is repeteadly calling. And THERE IS NO planned esclation of issues like what i faced and customer service guys DONT know whom to contact and get the things done.
I did not have the number or mail id of the Chairman or Owner else would have called him or emailed him and made sure that he knows the pathetic service that we are getting from the cust service guys that he has recruited
Customers are getting penalised due to some stupid people who dont know the job that they are doing.
Before you think of taking connection from them please think ….not twice but hundred times and avoid this headache.

I am having same problem in Vadodara as a home user. This morden decoits robbed me as i paid for 3 month connection and not even they activated my connection but they are counting the connection time from the day i paid to them. so without connection they are charging me and when i call Vadodara office, one guy told me that this ppl are like that, they cheating all the customers like this. lots of customers having less than 2 days active connection and then its not working for weeks and the hard earned money getting robbed. I advising you all that not to trap with iqara cheating scheme.

I have taken “you “ net connection 10 months back.
Actually I wanted to take net connection AIR Tel or
TATA Indicom..
“You†people came to my room they told. You Broadband
is better then AIRTEL /Indicom
While taking the net connection you people told me
that
1) This is the post-paid connection
2)â€Bill will come at the end of the month†for that
month.
3) While taking the action “you people will contact
the customersâ€.
4) Good customer care.
Now my Problems start
After 1 month they have sent 2 months bill.
I have asked what is this??
They told that this is post paid ( I think they don’t
know what is post paid. Postpaid
means after using service you will pay the bill ).
You have to pay 1 month before.
I said†disconnect the connection “pay remaining
amount “. But they have not disconnected and they have
accepted to collect the bill at the end of the month.
So from starting onwards I am paying the bill at the
end of month only.
Last month (June) they have disconnected 29days (no
net connection).
And they are asking to pay the June month Bill,
Due to non-payment of June month they have
disconnected again on July 17th.
I have asked regarding this, they have promised me
that they will check it out & solve this issue.
But there is no response.
Initially I don’t know about how “you broadband isâ€
Now I can write slogan “ “ You Broadband †is only for
money with out service “
At last I can say one thing “ Good will comes only
with good service not with money.
If it possible solve this issue

i have been using YOU broadband 92 kbps for around a yr now….i hav not had much problem with its service….yes the connection does go down but its like only once or twice in a month for some hours and that is bearable..for some ppl who dunt kno the difference between kbps and kBps i hope this will help
when they say that ur connection is 92 kbps it means your download speed will be 92/8 ie approx around 9-11 kBps …..
so this means that if u hav a 40 kbps connection u will hav a download speed of 5 kBps..
our internet connection plans are measured in kbps …and download speeds are measured in kBps…it is easy to get confused between the two ..so watch out for this.
kbps=kilo bits per second
kBps=kilo bytes per second
1 BYTE= 8 BITS

You have left Modem in our house. Still now we have been receiving bills from you. This month we have received a bill with relatioship number 164965.We have no bills left in the house, we’ve just discarded them. Some of your employees did not maintain accounting system properly. Please check your accounts properly. ACCOUNTING SYSTEM OF YOURS IS NOT ALL GOOD. We under any circumstance do not spare you if we receive bills . We may take severe legal action against you.

After going through all this forums we cant take out any permanent solution, where does the problem lies, what are this isps doing investing huge amount without proper support to the customers ,Did any of the CEO’s OF THIS companies had been to USA ,don’t they learn anything from there, What i advice is this Cable system no matter if its fibre optic or any other which is layed out in such a poor helpless manner is the main cause of all this problems with all the isps we cant single out any one good or bad isp, HOW much super economical power will be india ,how much pool of talent available in INDIA it doesnt matter because all will be same the roads , the power supply and this isp problems unless there is a sincere effort by the people who govern us and the public also has to change the way they behave, educated or litrate is same here he doesnt want his surroundings to be neat he wants his house to be neat, he spits on the roads but he wants his court yard to be perfect with green grass, I have seen NRI’S when they are in other countries they think for w while atleast to do any action which is against the rules of the land, they will not throw garbage as they throw here in INdia not even Chips wrapper as they throw here from there running cars damn they care about it when they are here in India so rules of the land should be strong immediate and sincere than only we can have a peaceful habitat around us RIGHT

You can claim any amout for your mental harasment that you faced. You also might claim the business loss happen due to their bad services.
