I appreciate the improvement in the site as you all mentioned. But still this does not meet the end user requirements. Basically many people nowadays busy with their company work depend on this site for their booking.
A public site with millions of visits should not be down even for maintanence (This is actually a rule in many of the foreign countries). Here in our case, this site can be down and server problem is just a reason they throw for the request.. Is this a valid reason ???
Also the site is not compatible with some browsers and failed to redirect to the booked page once we finish the payment.
Money doesnt matter .. But still the ticket wont be confirmed. I think those guys din learnt the transactional database models.. ;) And so forgot to keep the transaction atomic..

Why cant they fix this issues raised by many ppl like us in forums and consumercomplaints site too..

Situation is improved a lot over the years and now IRCTC accepts debit cards also. This is a good move. Most of the commuters in India has no access to credit cards but most of them now have either debit card in form of ATM card or international debit card directly issued by the bank. So this is one good step IRCTC has taken towards general good of common people.

Dear Friends,

I should say that IRCTC has very good side with the best server in world. However, in summer times they simply deny the connection at 8'O clock.
We are always getting a message false printed on forms. In technical term
it means there is no connection available.

In this sense they gives lot of time to the agents to book the tickets over the
counter.

Then what is the reason for having a good side. The IRCTC technical guys are aware about this that there is no coonection this way they fooling the people
who are thinking they will get tickets on internet.

Laluji saying that you ar e doing this and that is very good. But actually when you see all the GOCHIS done by the irctc tech team, you will com to know
that you himself making false promise to people stating the good things.

You can take it as a blame. If any irctc person has a guts or a simple shame can give me answer.

System which i use: P-4 3GHz 2 gb ram 2 mbps broadband connection. I hope this will prevent you to give me the technical jazz. I need simple and TRUE answer.

Thanks and Regards,
Jaykishan
